Description

The Diocese of Greensburg has an immediate opening for a photographer and multimedia specialist. Reporting to the assistant director of the Office for Communications, the person’s primary responsibilities are to photograph and digitally prepare images of news and feature events for The Catholic Accent newspaper and the diocesan Web site. The person will create photo galleries of special diocesan events for the Web site and provide assistance recording and editing digital video and audio at assigned diocesan events for posting to the Web site under direction of the Web Editor. Associate degree in photography or related media field desired with three years demonstrated experience in digital photography for print and Web-based media. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator software; experience with Pinnacle or Adobe Premiere video editing software and Audacity or Soundbooth audio software. Understanding of the Roman Catholic Mass and faith. Must be available for evening and weekend assignments and have vehicle to travel throughout the four counties of the diocese. Mileage reimbursement provided. Must be a team worker, organized, able to work under deadline pressure and possess attention to detail.
