Seton Hill University has a part-time opening for a Coordinator, Internet Communications for E-Magnify. This position will support the Center’s overall marketing communications activities, with primary emphasis on the virtual services delivery component through the e-magnify.com.

The primary responsibilities include maintenance and continued development of the Center’s services delivery through the web site, including issuance of a bi-weekly electronic newsletter, monthly web statistics, and web positioning strategies (as required). Secondary responsibilities include support of the Center’s general marketing and advocacy efforts and fund development activities, and implementation of other virtual initiatives. Tactical implementation will be in keeping with the Center’s annual business plan and the overall strategic direction of the University.

A bachelor’s degree in writing, journalism, communications, or related field and 3-5 years of appropriate work experience within the communications and/or Internet marketing profession is required. Strong writing skills and computer-related skills, including a proficiency in web-based communications, are necessary. The incumbent must excel in both written and verbal communications and must be able to travel within the University community and externally. Knowledge of the regional women’s business ownership market and resources available to this population is a plus. Additional skills and experience with web-based marketing, including social networking media and use of Dreamweaver is highly desired.

This position reports directly to the E-Magnify Director and requires management of multiple external contractors. This position may also supervise work-study students and interns. This position will interface with all Center staff members, University support staff and the Pittsburgh District SBA Office to ensure a unified and consistent Center-wide marketing communications effort.
