Logandoodle.com features a yellow hectopus with six colorful legs, but examination of the photographic evidence reveals that this is a different breed. Fascinating!

Hi. We are looking for this Hector "impostor." Our son lost his and is heartbroken. Can anyone help us find one to buy? Thanks.
Kristin, I'm sorry for your sad little son.
Do you know the name of the impostor pictured here? I'd be happy to help you search for it. I'd try eBay.
Thanks. No, we don't. We are hoping someone who reads this knows. We called him "Octwo" because he lost all but 2 of his legs! I will try Ebay, that's a good idea. :)
The website where I got that picture has a guest book. Have you posted your interest there?

Yes, we did. We found out it is a Jolly Toy, but the company is a distributor, not a manufacturer. We will keep looking though. We're still hoping!
Kristin, I think this eBay toy lot has the octopus you are looking for!

THANKS TO EVERYONE! WE FOUND HIM ON EBAY! MY BOY WILL BE SOOO HAPPY! In these times of stress and tension between strangers, it is so refreshing to have total strangers care enough about a little boy to take time out to unselfishly help. May God bless you all!
Warm fuzzies!
High sixes for everyone!
