Waking up blind

Had another one of those mornings...late night 1:30 working.

Waking up blind. You know, when the lids of your eyes just want to stay shut no matter how much you pry them open with your fingers. The contact solution (that I always forget to change) just wasn't enough to unstick them. So for about 3 minutes, I was blind, except for one tiny slit of bare consciousness.

Dark outside. Hail and thunderstorms today, but who can trust those forecasters? After all, they do get paid whether they are right or wrong (for you Karisa).

Heaving my carcass out of that toasty coccoon gets harder every day.

When I go to sleep my neck will not relax, but in the morning I feel like a rag doll. Why is that?

I get to take nap later though, woohoo!

Welcome to my world Amanda! I am tired all the time because I have a horrible habit of staying up really late when I know I have to get up early in the morning.

I am just most productive at night. I organize my room, I eat, I watch TV, I talk on the phone, etc. After 10pm just seems to be when I get my second wind. It never fails though, I look at my clock and its 1am and I have yet to finish my homework and need to get a shower for the next day. (I seldom take showers in the morning because that extra 15 minutes could be spent sleeping instead)

I completely sympathize with the eye problem although I do not wear contacts. I can barely get my eyes open in the mornings without them. Hope you get more sleep and be careful driving you have sudden blindness again.
