One sock, two socks, pink sock, blue sock

I left the house today wearing two different socks...one blue...one pink, but both, oddly, were the same design pretty flowers. They are the culmination of the pairs my sister and I received on Easter.

Blast that dim touch light in my laundry room. Blast the laundry that piles up in my room. Blast, Blast, Blast. I sound incredibly British. By-product of Ward-ian reading I suppose.

I have gone to school on early mornings, eyes barely open, shod into two different designs of footwear.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Sleepy faux pas? Inside-out shirts, wrong-footedness, walking up invisible stairs...

On a normal morning, I would wash my hair and shave in the shower. One moring, I put the shaving cream in my hand and then spread it through my hair.

Hey Amanda don't feel bad. There were times when I would rush out to class with my shirt on backwards!

Hey Amanda, I can't say i have done that, well at least not recently, but one time when i was little, don't remember how old, I walked out of the house without shoes on and my dad had the door locked by the time i realized i needed shoes. Maybe that will provide some amusement, it is weird too, how i was little, yet i still remember....

A lady at my office once complained of a backache throughout the day only to find out late in the afternoon that the identically colored shoes she wore had different sized heels! She was kidded about that for years.

A man in my office once complained to his wife in the morning that he couldn't find his new watch so he wore his old backup one. He later discovered the "missing" watch was already on his wrist when he checked for the time during a meeting, saw the two watches, burst out laughing and had to tell the story to all.

oh my, I have too many to count (especially from 11th grade because that's when I decided to take AP Biology, and I turned into a crazed maniac--studying until wee hours of the morning, getting up at 5 to study, not sleeping at ALL (literally)) I've got loads of funnies, but I'll just share a special one.

I had studied until about 3 for a test in two days, and I failed to set my alarm clock. Waking approximately 20 minutes before my ride came, I rushed to eat, brush my teeth, and get dressed. Putting my books in my bag, I walked out the door and went to school. No problem... until I get to first block (AP Bio) and take out my books. Which aren't mine. They were my little brother's 4th grade math and science books. We both used the same paper to cover them, so I just grabbed books...

My friends still tease me about that one. (not as badly as the time I brought the phonebook as my Calculus project, though...)
