Tired retinas

I have been staring at the stylesheet of my blog for hours. I am tired of it. To heck with colorizing my blog.

I know that many of them look very pretty with color, but I have resigned myself against it. HTML makes my head dizzy.

Make me stop....I keep trying and I don't get anywhere. I just end up pasting in my blah blog sheet again.

Oh well, I guess everyone is just going to have to like me for the gal I am.

I was going for this whole pretty ocean look....shut up, Amanda...it's no use.

I probably spent way too much time changing my style sheet, but I learned a whole lot, and I actually got a compliment or two on the way it looked. So I looked at it as a learning exercise ... although I think there must be easier ways to learn HTML.

But I like the black-and-white blog that you have. Substance is more important than appearance.

Thank you so much for that Paige.

I like the black-and-white appearance too. You see, in the Seton Hill blogosphere, there has been this thing about changing your blog color, and I am one of the last bloggers to change their color scheme.

I probably won't. I like being a relic. I'll be labeled under VINTAGE one of these days.

You know, it is funny, but I have come to "know" individual bloggers by their words and by the appearance of their blog. So if you change your color scheme now, Amanda, it would be like I have to get used to you all over again. It would be like in real-life if you changed your haircolor and started talking with a Brazilian accent.

There really isn't a chance of that happening. I haven't changed my haircolor EVER and the only time I take on an accent is for theatrics.

You know, one time I played Scrooge--gray hair, scraggly beard, gruff voice. I have done many male parts. I have a deep alto and a square chawline that screams: "I can play a guy!"

And as for my blog, I don't plan on changing anything. I think the content is important too.

And you are right about the "identity" of a weblogger. I go back to some of my pals' blogs and I have to find my way around again. Sometimes just looking at cyan rather than aquamarine is enough to make me reevaluate my relationship with the person. Not really, but it does make you think twice about the person's color coordination.

I hope you're not referring to my blog when it comes to color-coordination.

(just kidding. I don't really care if you are, because I need to change the colors again anyway. I got stuck last week and haven't found the time to get around to changing it again...)

NOOOOOOOO! I love your blog colors!!! I was referring to--well, let's not name names. It just isn't you.

lol, glad to hear it. But I changed mine again since posting this anyway. I had been working on tweaking a few things and found the time to display them yesterday :)

Enjoy--I even posted about it ;)
