Taste the Rainbow

Though I have struggled with the impossibility and vowed against the implementation of colors in the past few months, today, with the incredible aid of a best pal, I found the colorific hues in Java/HTML madness. I must say I do like it, and it doesn't hurt the eyes, does it?

I refused to change the background, however, just a momento from the drabiness of the past, and I want to maintain the readibility of my blog. I hope all will enjoy the changes.

Okay, who are you really and what have you done with the real Amanda??

Posted by: Paige at January 20, 2004 12:27 PM

So I was getting a little bit of heat from the staff and students of SHU for being a veteran blogger and not having any color on this thing.

I thought I would "expand my horizons" and all that, and at least try it. I am sorry, Paige, for breaking our pact of colorlessness, but to every season--turn turn.

And if I get sick of it all, I have the original stylesheet on file :-)

It is a bit obnoxious, isn't it?

Amanda, I like the colors...who cares what silly boys think....lol

Thanks for all the shout-outs, Amanda. It was no problem at all--I'd do the same for any of my best gal pals... You're awesome! :^)

Amanda, I love the new rainbow colors on your weblog!

Posted by: Rainbow Hector at January 20, 2004 6:08 PM

Thank you all. It has been one long and arduous journey, but it has all been *tear* worth it.

Posted by: Amanda at January 20, 2004 8:03 PM

*pout* Rainbow Hector never posted that he liked my colors. I'm hurt.

Posted by: Karissa at January 20, 2004 9:06 PM

Please don't pout Karissa, I read and enjoy your collection of sweetness and hope that the goodness of your weblog continues to spread. It is just that Amanda's weblog now has rainbow colors and I am rather fond of rainbows.

Actually, I like the pastel colors, Amanda. Nice job! Please don't put an image in the background, when I see that I usually find that the text is extremely difficult to read.
