Squirrely campus

The squirrels have risen from their acorn shell infested lairs to search for more nuts. Fortunately there are many on the SHU campus. (pardon the pun/or if you would like--agree with it).

You know that they have come back when your tires come close to crunching one. My life is just like that Geico commercial.

I am happy to see the little scamps running across campus again, Leaping at passersby with incredible height; I bet at least a foot and a half. Fortunately they stay away from me personally--which is a definite relief.

Squirrels! Who knows? Maybe the other rodent will emerge.

Yes Amanda its me. I finally left a comment. This reminds me so much of Mercutio. With you driving don't you think that more than just rodents need to stay out of your way;) See ya later!

Sorry I didn't mean to send it twice. You have to forgive me I'm new at this blogging thing.

That's okay Katie, glad to see that my sis is finally taking an interest in what I do all the time.

How dare you compare My nutty friends(no pun intended) with the ground hog! The "hog" lives in the dirt, no doubt feeding on the scum of the earth, like clams flitter feeding fish pee. The trees are so much more beautiful with the sounds of cute chattering...aww...just thinking about little creatures makes me want to cry. haha.

Spring is coming! I dare not compare the ugly Punxsatawney to MY bushy-tailed nut-loving friends. Just an observation. Why do we accredit so many of our weather patterns to this creature? I DECLARE SQUIRREL DAY! When the squirrels come out, spring is definitely on it's way. February 19th-ish.

I was walking to class the other day, and I saw a squirrel rummaging through a loose garbage bag. He came across an open soup can, stuck his head in (i guess looking for nuts) and got stuck. He then ran around in circles, banging his head on the ground. Yay for the dumbest creatures on the planet =)

Amanda, i am going to go home and tell my squirrel loving mother that i found someone who is as nutty as she is. She watches the squirrels all of the time out our picture window, my bedroom window or off of the front porch..and she gets really excited too! You, Amanda, in your squirrel loving glory, are not alone.

As being a commuter, as you are as well, I've almost hit some furry friends plenty of times during this year. If I would ever hit one, oh goodness, I would pull over and cry for hours. By the way, a good friend of mine has a pet squirrel, which is soooooooo cute, his name is Itchy.

Itchy? hehe

If you think squirls are bad you should have opossums and armadillos under your house. They also eat all the pecans
