Million Dollar Bill?

Via Paige...

COVINGTON, Georgia (AP) -- A Georgia woman who tried to use a fake $1 million bill to buy $1,675 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart was arrested, and police later found two more of the bills in her purse.

Can anyone be this stupid? But then again, there are some characters that go to Wal-Mart. I am losing faith in the theory that all humans are intelligent creatures.

Amanda these pictures are incredibly disturbing. Especially since I am sick, but yes I agree with you. People are stupid sometimes.

Both this woman and the mother in the other article look very disgruntled. You are truely a journalist to search for such hiddeous stories and poeple!

Million dollar bill seems like a good idea to me. Most of the Wal-Mart workers are fresh border jumping mexicans, being paid 8 Cents an hour(has nothing to do with the point), who might not yet know that there is no million dollar bill in America. Good Going Walmart.

"To look for hideous stories and people" was not my intent. I thought this was a great story, not for the shock value of the pictures, but of the laugh value. I will not go into a diatribe on journalism if that is what you are looking for. :-)

Originally I thought this story was funny. But then I thought it was also very sad, I mean what dire straits must a person be in to try such a thing? I cannot comprehend, I have never been there.

I also cannot understand how this woman was clearly not so stupid that it prevented her from making a million dollar bill (she had some skills), but she was stupid enough to think it might actually work. The mind boggles.

Just look at the SHIM! People looking that ugly are THAT STUPID! Why didn't she use a fake $500 bill at least?

Numbnuts, those bills are sold in gag stores and on websites.
The bills themselves are NOT illegal, trying to spend one made it forgery.
I think they should keep her in prisone because she is obviously too dumb to walk around in public.
