With my second year of college fast approaching and my summer ending, a bittersweetness accents these days.

Alas, tuition, books, and school supplies will bind me financially, as usual, but this time around, I am apprehensive about more complicated things.

Karissa will not be returning this semester, much to my dismay. I can be so selfish. Things will not be the same without her.

And I keep having these crazy dreams about school. Disintegrating staircases. Singing arias in the chapel. Nutso. No more pickles before bed.

However, I am ready to head back to work on all fronts. The Setonian. Classes. Personal Life. Yes, in that order (or so I have been advised ;-) ).

Though I am sorry to see my favorite season come to a close and the work looming (dust off that planner), I am ready to start a new year armed with some experience and a refreshed mind. Let's hope EBSCO Host cooperates this year. *Gags* (onomatopoeia is cool, isn't it?) . I can't believe I thought of that.

Who knows? Maybe I will try some of my "supercool" adventures at Seton Hill :-) Awww yeah.

Don't worry. Apollo is very close. And you have your license now. Who says I can't bring my best pal to certain events?

And don't forget about spring. You will be back, and in full Karissa wonderfranjabulousness. I know it. :-D

Oh, and "supercool"? Yeah, they definetly say that a lot in foreign countries. You just demoted yourself in the English language... lol.

Let's start at the beginning...

When I came to SHU last year, I had a Journalism class with Dr. Jerz my first semester. As much as I was frustrated in that class everyday, it introduced me to these wonderful people, including you Amanda. I am very sad as well with Karissa not being able to return for fall semester, but we can all hop in my little VW tuna can on wheels and head to Karissa's house!!

While I am waitressing, people ask me all the time, "How's Seton Hill?" "Do you enjoy school?" Well, I sigh, chuckle, grind my teeth when asked those simple questions. I get highly fed up with a lot of Seton Hill's mysterious ways, BUT in the long run, it brought me close to many people who have been a major influence in my life (that is the number one positive thing I enjoy about school).

EBSCO HOST--- HAHA memories, memories, memories

Karissa, if anyone needs a translation, I will gladly give them one--using other words, such as wonderfranjabulousness as descriptors of this term. :-)
