I just wrote a rant and then deleted it. Karissa really has the right idea.
My eyes keep closing and twitching involuntarily. I probably won't be blogging any fun stuff for the next two weeks. Feel free to stop by, but know that, though I love you all, I can't cater to any audience except the grading prof kind for awhile.
When summer comes, I'll have pics, rants, reflections, and most likely a commentary of my experiences at the Trib. So, if that's your reading material style, I'll have hoards of it then.
Until another -brighter- day,
Girl Meets Projects, Presentations, and Papers
Hey, glad I could inspire a little optimism. Don't worry about having to focus on your more academic blogs for awhile, Amanda. You'll be back in no time with plenty to say, I'm sure :-) Until then, just do what you gotta do and we'll get by. Well, I'll blog for the both of us, how's that sound? ;-)

Posted by: Amanda at April 30, 2005 10:12 PMI don't see why posting a rant is such a bad idea ... Blogs seem kinda one-sided and restricted if you just try to post happy "I'm lovin' it" stuff all the time.
Posted by: ChrisU at April 30, 2005 11:35 PMNothing wrong with a well-directed rant, Chris. It's when it becomes -all- that is displayed on a blog, or when ranting consumes a person's mind and locks them into pessimism when it is a problem. I am happy to inspire optimism, but I welcome honesty, too. No, we're not all "hunky-dory" all of the time, but we shouldn't be so damned stressed out, either :-)
Posted by: Karissa at May 4, 2005 6:43 PMHe's just stressed out that he used a McDonald's motto in his comment. :-D
Posted by: Amanda at May 4, 2005 7:11 PMAh, hush, you. ;P
To be truthful, I find nothing wrong with pessimism, either -- I actually prefer it, most of the time. I think it helps to filter out some of the severity of problems.
