14 or 16?

The age of the Chinese gymnasts has just angered me the entire Olympic Games. I kept thinking as I looked at their obviously girlish faces, "Do they really think they get away with this? This is such a cheat -- and it doesn't even involve performance-enhancing drugs!"

I'm happy to see that there is an ongoing investigation, which was amazingly prompted by some super-hacker sleuthing. Cheers to Mike "Stryde Hax" Walker for not letting this go.

It is pretty bad when the country hosting the games is trying to cheat at them. Did they really think that the 'fetus Olympics' (as I heard it so eloquently put recently) would fly? I am sure our USA woman's team will be vindicated. Though I have also heard that if the Chinese competitor He Kexin is underage it will take several months to prove as well as remedy the situation. That girl should never be allowed to compete in the games again if this is proven (which I believe it will be). On another note did you hear about the young girl who sang at the opening night of the games? She was not even singing, and it was not her voice. Apparently the actual singer was 'not cute enough' to be broadcast and to represent the country. Communism at its finest, and in case you hadn't guessed with my Cuban background I am utterly opposed to the governmental practice. Ok, I am done ranting. Thanks for the post Amanda.
