The front page is the most vital part of today's newspapers.  It contains all of the eye catching graphics and the most interesting articles.  Newspaper editiors use those articles to help pull readers further inside the paper.  They do this by always putting small portions of those articles on the front page and then reffering readers of those articles to a different section of the paper.  This helps ensure that readers will see other articles that they would want to read while they are flipping through to continue reading the article they began on the front page of the paper.  This procedure helps bring in new readers as well as keep the readers the paper already has.  Because of this, the front page is often considered the most important part of a newspaper.
