Peer Review Ex 1-1
All the assignments marked "exercise" typically come in three parts - a main submission (worth 20pts), a peer review (worth 10 points; begins only after the main submission deadline passes) and a response (worth 10pts; respond to the feedback you received from me and from your peers). I won't always spend class time reminding you about these extra components.

Dr. Jerz,
I know we were supposed to print out a copy of our papers from turnitin.com with the comments visible correct? But, I viewed the comments the other day but didn't have the chance to print it at the time and now I can't get the version with the comments. There is no icon to for it anymore.
Also, are we supposed to peer review all 4 essays that I can see posted on my site, or just one? And is it supposed to be done by class Wednesday, or Friday?
Posted by: Lorin Schumacher at January 31, 2007 2:12 AMAll 4 peer reviews are due.
It looks like I can't set the system so that it both shows my comments *and* accepts peer reviews. Seems like a dumb restriction, but I only realized that now. When I opened up the comments a couple days ago, that locked everyone out of posting the peer reviews, and vice-versa.
The comments will come back after the peer-review deadline has passed (that's 10:45am). If you can print out my comments and bring them to class Friday, that will be fine.
Sorry about the confusion... this is one reason why I jump into these assignments right away, so that we have more time to work out the details before the real work of the semester begins.
Have faith -- it will all work out!
