Ex 2-3: Close Reading
Explicate a difficult passage or analyze a recurring theme found in a full-length work (novel or play) that we have studied this term. Avoid summary, but demonsrate how your theme or passage relates to the rest of the work. (3 pages.)
So I guess this means we can't do a poem?
Posted by: SamanthaO at April 5, 2005 06:16 PMOne another note, which doesn't have anything to really do with this, can we have class outside tomorrow it's going to be so nice out. =-)
Sorry Chris but I can't help loving the sun.
That's right, Sam, I am asking you to look at a bigger chunk of writing, not a poem. As for going outside... I don't mind, as long as the quality of the discussion doesn't suffer.
Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at April 5, 2005 09:03 PMOh well, I'll live, Sam. I guess I have to deal with it eventually. :P Maybe I should start stocking up on water bottles to bring to school with me to cool off with.
