Ex 2-3: Close Reading

Explicate a difficult passage or analyze a recurring theme found in a full-length work (novel or play) that we have studied this term. Avoid summary, but demonsrate how your theme or passage relates to the rest of the work. (3 pages.)

One another note, which doesn't have anything to really do with this, can we have class outside tomorrow it's going to be so nice out. =-)

That's right, Sam, I am asking you to look at a bigger chunk of writing, not a poem. As for going outside... I don't mind, as long as the quality of the discussion doesn't suffer.
