Attend Morgan Spurlock lecture.
If you cannot attend the Morgan Spurlock lecture (7:30pm. Cecilian Hall), let me know at least a week ahead of time, and I will prepare an alternate assignment.
If you do attend the lecture, class tomorrow is optional.

Posted by: Mike at September 9, 2005 01:39 AMI will not be able to attend that lecture, Dr. Jerz. Mainly because after 3:00 pm I'm not on campus. But also because I have a family thing to attend at 4:30 and won't be home till 9:30.
Posted by: Lou Gagliardi at September 9, 2005 10:49 PMI also will not be able to attend the lecture. I have a night class thursday night, from 6-8:30.
Posted by: David Denninger at September 10, 2005 09:22 AMLuckily, something finally works out for me. I'll be able to attend the lecture. My mommy's coming, too!!
Posted by: Katie Lambert at September 10, 2005 04:25 PMI'll be going. I've seen his documentary and it's hilarious. Tickets are free so I already got one.
Posted by: Erin at September 11, 2005 09:35 PMI'm always dragging my husband to documentaries (which he usually ends up enjoying) and tried to persuade him to see this one. He refused. In his words "What can be funny about McDonalds?" My son, however, saw it and loved it. I'm going to try to rent it.
Posted by: Nancy Gregg at September 12, 2005 04:35 PMTo those who can't attend... we'll work something out. To those who can, great! Nancy, renting the video will be great preparation for the event.
Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at September 12, 2005 05:30 PMIf you can't attend the lecture, please submit a "Scheduled Absence" form just as you would if you knew you would miss any class, and we'll arrange an alternative.
Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at September 16, 2005 10:05 AMNevermind, Doctor Jerz. I can go--my mom's forcing me--providing there are still tickets
Dr. Jerz,
Do we need to have a submission letter with our paper for tomorrow?
I'm always interested in hearing what you have to say, but this assignment doesn't involve a separate submission note requirement. So a submission note is optional.
Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at October 6, 2005 06:52 PMIm gonna keep harping on this..but I love how he basically dodged my question by going from talking about cows to chickens..
Posted by: Lou Gagliardi at October 6, 2005 09:56 PM::Hugs his voice recorder:: I knew you'd come in handy.
Posted by: ChrisU at October 6, 2005 11:21 PMI'm still grinning ear to ear... it was great seeing so many of you filling your notebooks and running around getting crowd reaction quotes.
