What exactly are these presentations going to be? I emailed you today to let you know I wasn't going to be in class, and then I completely forgot to ask you about this.

I've spoken with three students abut my expectations and they will present in class Wednesday. If you miss it, you should get the notes from a peer. The topic will be taken from the day's readings.

I won't miss this Wednesday, or the next one. I was more concerned about this one. But that answers my question..in away, I suppose.

For the issue we choose to blog in depth about, do we schedule that with you before we present it? I'd like to get started on mine.

Posted by: NancyGregg at October 25, 2005 03:38 PM

I was planning to talk about this in class Wednesday, but you can just let me know what day you'd like to present.

Each student only needs to present once, on either It Ain't Necessarily So or on We the Media.

As would I--I could be preprared to do a presentation as early as friday.

Posted by: Lou Gagliardi at October 25, 2005 05:16 PM

You can pick the date when you want to go, and pick a topic from the readings for that date. You should get in touch with the other students who're scheduled for that day, and work together to ensure that you don't overlap each other.

You're welcome to tell me what you'd like to blog about, and I'll be happy to give you feedback if I can, but you don't need to clear the topic with me in advance.

Lou, do you want to go on the 4th or this Friday (the 28th)?

Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at October 25, 2005 09:07 PM

Dr.Jerz may I present on the 4th?

Posted by: Quinn Kerno at October 25, 2005 10:01 PM

OK

Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at October 25, 2005 10:41 PM

Dr. Jerz, may I present on October 28th?

Posted by: Erin at October 26, 2005 11:59 AM

Dr. Jerz,

I would like to present on November 4th.

Thank you.

Posted by: Katie Aikins at October 26, 2005 12:24 PM

Can I present Nov.4 too. Or does this long list of comments mean no?

Posted by: Kevin Hinton at October 26, 2005 11:29 PM

I can add you in for today, Kevin.

Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at October 26, 2005 11:38 PM

Murphy's Law but I would like to present on Chp. 6 "Polls Apart." It's Monday's assigned reading but since we don't have class, can I present it tomorrow, the 28th?

Posted by: NancyGregg at October 27, 2005 10:23 AM

Nancy, I'd rather that you present it Nov 2, after the class has had a chance to read that chapter.

Posted by: Dennis G. Jerz at October 27, 2005 10:55 AM

That's fine. I'll present on Nov. 2.

Posted by: NancyGregg at October 27, 2005 11:17 AM

Dr. Jerz, please let me know if you want me to present tomorrow, Nov. 2. I planned to present on polls. If not, I can select another day.

Posted by: NancyGregg at November 1, 2005 10:41 AM

Hmm... I realize now that when I answer a question via e-mail, it looks like I leave the student hanging. At any rate, thanks for going today, Nancy (and you too, Lorin). Good job!
