"Of, mixed ancestry, I felt from earliest childhood that America was the only home I could ever call my own."
I understand what he is saying. He wants his "own" country. However, I find it strange that he wants his "own." I do not understand why he isn't more linked to his other ancestors.
I am also amazed that being a pediatrician and an obstetrician, he had time to write poetry, novels, books, plays, essays, etc. Especially when it stated that he delivered over 2,000 babies. That is real dedication there.
Dr. Jerz, for some reason, the class blog keeps telling me that I can't post the URL of my entry here because of "questionable content."
