People can sure be Sarcastic

Satire is very prevalent in many of the stories that we read in literature. An example that Hamilton used was from “The Animal Farm.” I never understood that satire could be divided into categories. As Chera stated, “The two founders were Horace and Juvenal.” This is very interesting and is something that can be recorded back many years ago. Just as Maggie stated, “Mark Twain used satire in almost every chapter and that’s what keeps me reading.” It is very important to have some sarcasm within any story that you are reading because it keeps the readers interest. Satire is very popular as the quote stated that Maggie used. I thought that since I am an English literature major then maybe I can use satire in my writing. I thought that Maggie’s quote made me question what satire really is and how it can be categorized.
