Tachers can make all the difference!

Teachers are very important for children when growing up whether it is for a role model or someone to talk to. I think that it is very important for every child to have someone that they can express their selves to. After reading Maggie’s blog entry, I realized how true the quote she used really is. Ever since I was a small child, I wanted to be a teacher. It is interesting that some teachers are the only positive person in a child’s life. As Maggie stated, “I’m not choosing to be a teacher by majoring in English, rather I am choosing to teach English by majoring in English.” This was interesting to me because a teacher should teach a subject that they enjoy doing and feel confident in. Overall, teachers are with students each and every day and it only takes one to make a change.
