Time to reread Secret Life Bees. :-D I liked reading it at the beginning of freshman year, but unfortunately do not remember nearly enought details to get away without brushing up a bit.
A part of the book I remember and really like is how at the beginning of every chapter there is a quote. The quotes kind of foreshadow a bit to the looming chapter ahead of the reader.

ok i'm editing my blog since i've reread the book now and we've discussed it.
I really like Melinda Leslie's blog about T.Ray and Stanley fightin each other. In response to who I think would win, I'd probably say that I think Stanley would win even though T. Ray may be physically superior in some peoples eyes. I think that Stanley's emotions would motivate him even more in a fight and perhaps give him and edge over opponents.
I also decided to link to Meghan's blog which dealt with the group discussion we had on "The Secret Life Of Bees" when Prof. Jerz was MIA. How different would life had been for Lily?
Completely different. She wouldn't have Rosaleen as a close friend or had the chance to meet the calendar sisters and Zach. Even thought Lily struggled to deal with the loss of her mother, good things came out of it eventually.
I best get on rereading "The Secret Life of Bees" as well Em....I remember I LOVED that book...I read it in one day while laying out by my pool over the summer (SIGH summer....how I miss thee!) HAHA...Oh well.
