Faith, Love and Pain

London, ''To Build a Fire'' -- Jerz: EL150 (Intro to Literary Study)

" That's the river you have to lay your pain in, in the River of Faith, in the River of Life, in the River of Love...."

When I read this quote it made me think of how if any of us are to survive the harsh realities of life in this world then we do need to rely on faith and love and life. It seems that believing in love and having faith or trust is someone makes dealing with the pain a whole lot easier, and it makes life just a tad more bearable.
