Jumpin to Conclusions

Card, Ender's Game Finish -- Jerz: EL150 (Intro to Literary Study)

"We did not mean to murder, and when we understood, we never came again. We thought we were the only thinking beings in the universe, until we met you, but never did we dream that thought could arise from the lonely animals who cannot dream each other's dreams. How were we to know? We could live with you in peace. Believe us, believe us, believe us."

I think its really sad that the bugger invasion was greatly misconstrued, and that had anyone bothered to try to understand them, they could have avoided the entire war. And Ender could have possibly led a "normal" life. its funny how most fight in life happen because of a certain misconception, it also speaks of how quick we are to judge.
