Boy, when you look at all the stuff in these portfolios, it's hard to believe we've blogged that much, isn't it?

Anyway, let me first of all, thank you for the comments you've posted. You and Brenda C. seem to have a gift for coming up with cool takes on the stuff we've read. I know you, she and the others have helped me. Even the criticism is good for me -- it helps to keep me in the cave of my convictions, ha-ha!

I'm kind of excited about reading Flannery O'Connor, who seems to be on deck for us. Those will generate some good blog entries too.

I liked Gatsby, but I'm sort of glad we're leaving the "great barnyard of Long Island Sound" behind. I've had enough for now, but I'm sure we'll revisit the dysfunctional gang soon in a paper near you.

I've found I don't mind this blogging stuff as much as I did at first. A lot of it has to do with my greater comfort level now versus when we started. How 'bout you? Thought so.

Anyway, keep up the good work!
