The Quest of Life

"The real reason for a quest is always self knowledge." page 3 in the chapter of Every Tip is a Quest (Except When Its Not).

I enjoyed this whole paragraph that expands on this quote.  It not only relates to how authors use this in literature, but it stands true in real life situations.  Too often we get caught up in the stated reason for the quest also known as the end result or "last stop" that we end up missing out on the most important partf life, which is the journey along the way to our goals.  All of the paths we take through the journey of life are what gives us self knowledge.
