Passion for Post-its.

I harbor an undying love for post-its. If you could only see the computer screen I look at each day, bearing a thin coating of miniature sticky notes in vibrant colors, reminding me of this, that, or the-other-thing...

Or better yet, look around my dorm room: I have a stack of turquoise blue traditional square-sized post-its next to a stack of three different shades of pink hearts (from my grandmother for Christmas) on my computer desk, another small stack of square ones in a different color blue near the phone for messages, and in my cupboard I have a collection of bright pink, blue, yellow, and purple rectangular post-it notes for lists and various other important jobs (you know, writing directions, schedules, harassing notes to neighbors... just kidding about that last one ;) I also have the same four bright colors in the ever-handy post-it flags.

I love post-its. I ought to buy stock in 3-M for as much as I use post-its and tape. Tape is another story for another day, however, since it's been an obsession of mine from a small age...

Speaking of children, I stumbled across this article, which spawned this post on post-its. (You have to scroll down a bit to find the part about the post-its--I didn't know how to set it up to go directly there, if, indeed, there is a way to do that...)

And did you know that there's post-it software?! You can have post-its on your computer (there's a free "lite" edition that I've been considering, but I'm too scared to download much of anything onto this ancient lunk of metal).

*sigh* I love post-its. And the traditional canary yellow? I only use those in the office. They don't have pretty colored ones there :(

Very funny... but I'm probably one of the most organized people I know--and I'm not bashful about that, either! ;^)

THOSE LINKS ARE AWESOME! I can't tell you how much I appreciate seeing the hysteria rising from small sheets of paper with adhesive known dearly as post-its.
