The time on this post and the post below this may be wrong. I think my computer has ADHD or something because I have to pause after typing so many characters to let it think about displaying them in the order that I typed them, it pulls up pop-up windows better and faster than anything else, backspace functions at half the speed of the SHU elevator (which is remarkably slow), and the time is consistently wrong.
It's always off by at least ten minutes after it's been on for an hour. When I turn the thing on, it's correct, but when I "wake" it later on, it's somehow doing a "Back to the Future" move by remaining vehement that the true time is at least ten minutes ago.
Okay, I don't think that last statement made any sense, but we'll go with it since backspace takes entirely too long... *sigh* Thank goodness the asteriks work. Otherwise I couldn't be cynical. Let's consider what time it is now that I'm writing this: computer tells me it's 1:11am. Okay, that's early. But you know what? IT'S NOT 1:11am!! It's really 2:28am... (I'm so confused :(
And Mel said it seemed like my computer is one of those people that stops midsentence and drools for awhile before actually continuing. I'm going to coin a term now. It's going to be called "verbal narcolepsy." That's the diagnosis of my computer. *sigh* *deeper sigh*
Would anyone care to make a contribution to the "Karissa Needs a New Computer" Fund? Donations can be mailed to my campus box, 516B. Thank you.

Sounds like you either have a virus or some spyware running.

I think we have that Spyware problem as well on my computer. I always have the usual "Run Time Error" pop up on my computer everytime a pop up menu pops up. That's a lot of popping!
The best thing to do is delete as much useless junk and defrag your computer. Then with spare change over the summer, invest in a bigger hard drive or a program that detects viruses. We download our virus detector free off the net.
Hope this advice helped you out.
I MISS YOU KARISSA!!
