Myst..The game I never played
I have never before played Myst and after watching the video I am some what glad I never did. I do not have much insight of the game so that may be part of the problem why I am disinterested. 5 min into the video and I still had no real clue on what the game was about or what I was supposed to do. This is one game that I would not have been interested in.

You should give it a try before you completely dismiss it. Play it for five minutes. I'm not saying it's the best game ever, but it's kind of cool, because you have to explore the island and solve a lot of complicated puzzles. I haven't played it since I was in grade school, but I feel like I'd have a better appreciation of it now that I'm older and understand what it was really about. Then again, you might absolutely hate it, and that's fine, but don't completely dismiss it solely based on what you saw in a video.
I agree with Jessie that the video does not do the game justice. It would have been more beneficial to actually played the game yourself, but I also feel that the enjoyment and appreciation level may be higher for us because we played it when we were younger and it brings back memories.
