SHU's Production: Kindertransport
Samuels, Kindertransport--Drama As Literature EL250
Seton Hill's production of Kindertransport was in fact worth seeing. The cast was mostly freshman, which speculated that it might not be as good as the previous plays perforemed. But I think that they were proved wrong. I think the director, Kellee Van Aken had put her own input into this play. For example, when I read the script I don't remember Eva jumping out of the train when she was worried about leaving Lil. If I was directing I would put emphasis on the detail on how the biological family was changed by Eva (or Evelyn) behavior post-World War II. How you spin this play off if you were directing it?

Kevin, I think the German accents were good. However, the English one's could have been better. Overall I agree that the play was very well done and I really enjoyed it.
