Turtle in my yard today...

My Dad brought this turtle home today from Powellville. He was in the middle of the road when he went into Ocean City and still there when he was driving home.

I guess Dad saw that as a sign or an omen of some kind because he picked up the hard shelled little guy and brought it home. Well we put him in the garden and later I found him trying to go under the garage door which was slightly lifted. The rumors about turtles being slow are very false.


Each of these pictures was taken in a different lighting area. Note that one of them used a flash and the other did not.
