This friday night..Dr. Michael A. Arnzen and Eye Contact are sponsoring a Poetry Slam at DV8 at 208 S Pennsylvania Avenue, right here in the heart of Greensburg from 7pm-11pm.
I have seen flyers from all the over school. But I haven't heard anything about from people--including his fellow professors. I know..I know.."but we're busy."
Big deal. Take a Friday night, come and here some of the poetry from last year's eye contact, listen to what your fellow SHUers are saying, what people from PittG are saying, what people from SVC (i still laugh that we're a univeristy and their a college--im sorry, I grew up in Greensburg, where SHC was always better than Latrobe's SVC--even if each (at the time) only allowed one sex.)
Yeah, I know, I should be working on my Newswriting presentation, or something else that's constructive, but I've seen these flyers up--and well damn it, I couldn't resist. Don't worry Dr. Arnzen I'll be there with at least 4-5 poetry pieces.
There, now Dr. A, I want my $50 (LOL-KIDDING)
