Good Idea or Bad?
I think often times when games are based on war, and they try to be as realistic as possible, people may sometimes brush it off like its no big deal. That's why I'm a little weiry about games being based off of war. Also, when little children play games with killing and fighting in them, they take that with them, and may be violent to someone at school or even at home, no matter what the age. I think there is a limit to what games are appropriate and what isn't. Even for simply being made, not just played. Some games are rated, so if you're too young you cant buy it so you can't play it, so what happens, you're parents just buy it for you. I think parents should have a better judgment on things like that and take the ratings seriously and take them into consideration and not let their ten year old or younger child play games with guns and killing and murder. A lot of games are incredibly graphic as well. It's absolutely awful.

I don't think that games are to blame for violence.Look out the window. There is a lot more than a simulated war going on. Yes, children are impressionable, but games cannot be blamed for violence. I remember when music was the scapegoat for youth suicide. I have never played a game and then said "Let's go rob somebody!". I said, "Wow! Those graphics were intense".
I know that violence is influenced on people through who they hang out with, how they were raised and what goes on in the real world, however, I still believe video games can influence, I'm not saying they are to blame, but I still believe that they can influence. For example someone sees how to kill and cover their tracks from a CSI episode or Law and Order, and there are a lot of video games that can help with the same thing. Like we've all said, we learn from the games. But really, I am not saying they are to blame. Out of the real world, tv and games they would be the least to affect someone, but it's possible.
