"A fool, a fool, I met a fool i' th' forest"
The fool in the forest was me. Sometimes I found it hard to read As You Like It and understand what was happening in the story. At times, I could only get through a page or two and then have to go back and read them two or three more times, especially in the middle of the play. The middle of the play seems to lack any real drama to me. There is alot of action in the beginning and in the end but the middle it's like the characters just stumble around the forest rambling. I thought it lacked any real interest in the middle of the play. I remembered reading some Shakespeare in high school and liked it. Is it just this play maybe? Is it set up that way on purpose and if so why?
