The Secret life of Lilly

This book has it all. A child who feels so unloved most of her life, a family crisis, a racial undertond, and a happy ending. I thought it was great. Lilly was so lucky to find August, and her new life, and I am glad that TRay finalyy let go and left her to live her life in peace, although I am sure she suffered for who she chose to live with she still was better off that she was before.

Tammy, I agree with you that the story "has it all" I was also glad that Lily was able to find a home where someone cared for her finally and not abused her. She was definitly better off living there with a complete stranger than a father who beat her.

I do agree with both statements, I have seen instances where biological parents are so unfit to take care of children that any change would have been beneficial.

I agree with you as well. This story did have a lot of parts to it. I have not yet finished it. It is good to hear that it has a happy ending.
