“Tempest” I found I had to finally read
To expand my knowledge of Shakespeare with
That of literature and English writing.
So I read and read this eloquent verse.
With lines confusing and words deceiving
I work to understand this classic tale.
It is not so hard or a daunting task;
I can interpret and do this I see,
With help from the text and others as well.
I am successful in my solemn quest
To understand the play “The Tempest”.
Iambic verse is densely pack'd with sense.
To tease it out is not an easy task.
Vanessa, thanks for sharing your success.
You've found the key -- it's read, reread, reread.
I really am quite proud of you because
you wrote your last two lines in form, with rhyme.
Once you stare I must admit that all this
Blank verse blogging can be rather catchy.
Now as I sit contemplating my next
Comment I find myself counting meters
And iambs to make another poem.
