Foster (Ch 2, 3)

“Generally, eating with another is a way of saying, “I’m with you, we form a community together.”

Everything is not what it seems. Similarly going along with the theme of my first blog from the intro, this chapter discusses looking deeper into the meaning of things. As perviously stated with the knowledge of an academic person, one is able to dive deeper into the meanings of mundane things. one such example is eating. The form and practice of eating can literally just one sitting down and having a meal, but when one is surrounded by people it becomes something else entirely. Whether the people are close friends or relatives it creates a deeper meaning of community.
