I am! What’s that? You think I’m lying? You think I’m a ghost?

Come on, now. Would I do that to you?

But I know. I know. It’s been a while. A really long while. But here I am! So what am I doing you ask?

Pfffffffffffffffft. If I knew the answer to that I’d have the universe solved.

Okay, but no really. I have an answer, I swear.

So I worked in retail for a year and that was an adventure. A really big adventure.  A scary, get-kicked-in-the-face-and-yelled-at-over-UGG-boots-for-three-year-olds adventure. (Children’s shoe stores. Don’t do it. Save yourselves.) Basically it’s something that I’ll be grateful if I never have to do again because yikes.

I stopped at that store back over the summer (HALLELUJAH!) and started — EEEEEEEEE — writing for a newspaper. And – AND – it was even in the sports section!

I know! I know, right?! It was a pretty rad feeling and I wrote some pretty awesome stories. I had this one about a woman who swam Lake Tahoe. Then there was one about a family that biked across the country. My personal favorite was about a Marine who came home to surprise his brother on senior night. Basically it’s been incredible and I’ve had an absolute blast doing it.

Oh and I take pictures, too, but if I try to show you those they’ll have watermarks all over them so you should just take my word for it.

ALTHOUGH I did take a pretty awesome one last night that’s in this article, but unfortunately the other one’s only in print soooo…one day. One day.
