THE SCOOP

This chapter of NR&W went over the basics of scoop-age, as Pauly Shore would say; at least, that was the most interesting part because of what I was reminded of. At a recent trip to the Newseum in DC, I learned that the paper reporting Lincoln’s assassination printed seven issues that day because they had the only reportersĀ in town, so they could never be scooped.
